Kindergarden kaleidoscope called Karnataka (Part 2) - Sringeri

We originally thought of visiting Chikmagalur and staying there as I was of the notion that Chikmagalur itsself has coffee plantation and actually is situated on mountain. Only when we reached there from Belur, driving through some picturesque villages & roads that I realized the city is on plain and is a beautiful but costly place to stay. We started for searching places to stay in any of the nearby coffee plantation areas. English was not so much used in local people there, Hindi seems to be language locals dislike. A time came when we were frantically calling friends for help...we found a young man getting  out of his car to go to a nearby building. Like a last plank of the sinking ship, I clung to him for help. Like him everybody else in our trip helped for giving information, but this gentleman broke all our previous records of receiving helps....he stood with us for nearly half an hour calling all his connected friends to get a suitable coffee plantation stay option. He cam
