Kolkata covid days

 Finally I could reach Kolkata!

Life was tensed, bored, alone, struggling in new danger virus environment. Could not think of going out, meet nature and other human beings and at the same time can not find myself comfortable at home.

Passing through such situations for nearly 3 months, I was able to finally land on Kolkata on 7th June.


Below are images taken post that till today, 19th Sep, that I took being mostly within our home. Luckily, I had open sky and a terrace.

Pallavaram Friday market, 2 hours in the morning

 Pallavaram, just beside Chennai airport, has a 2 km straight road in between the military campaus and railway track. This otherwise industrial use road on Friday morning becomes an orchestrated chaos with sellers selling their household to stolen items and buyers keep on negotiating till they can buy it almost for free even if they know ultimately that electronic item might not work at all. In between some fights happen, some pets change hands, some vegetable plucked from the backyard change their address and use.
